I’m so very grateful to be a part of my family. I’m not talking about my husband, daughter and son, I already shared how thankful I am for them. Today I’m meaning “extended family” I hate that term though, “extended” doesn’t sound very near and endearing.
I love my parents. I love my siblings and their spouses. I love my in-laws, I know there’s a tremendous amounts of joking out there about in-laws, but I truly do enjoy getting to spend time with mine. I love my husbands’ siblings and their spouses (side note: I was friends with his sister before I ever met him). And I adore being an aunt to my one dozen nephews and neices! One of my least favorite parts of living so far from them is not getting to spend more time with them as they grow and change.
My family (on both sides) truly are a blessing and it’s a privilege to be counted among them.
