Leftover Cranberry Sauce?

This isn’t part of my new series, but I’m just so stinkin’ excited about sharing it with someone!

Do you have leftover cranberry sauce? Have you noticed the cranberries going on sale now that Thanksgiving’s over? Wondering what to do with it?

Personally, I don’t put cranberry sauce on my turkey, and it’s a little sour to eat by itself, but I absolutely love it with other things!

Here’s 3 ways I’ve tried cranberry sauce that I adore:

  1. Cranberry sauce muffins. You can check out all kinds of recipes online, but I just used Amy Dacyczyn’s universal muffin recipe. Cranberry sauce, or no cranberry sauce, this is a handy recipe to have around. I rarely use any other muffin recipe as you can tweak this one to what you have on hand.
  2. Waffles. Oh my word, a waffle topped with cranberry sauce and whipped cream was amazing!
  3. Oatmeal. A couple of times for breakfast I made oatmeal and mixed yogurt and canberry sauce in. Not only does it taste good, but it makes it a pretty color too!

How have you eaten cranberry sauce? I’d love to learn more tasty ways to eat it!
