As my little seedlings started to grow in my kitchen, they kept reaching, reaching for the window. Through the window shines the sun, that’s what they’re looking for. They start to bend in the direction of the light. If I turn them around, they’ll start to bend back again to the light.
What an illustration of what we as children of God should always be doing. We should always be reaching for the Light. No matter which way our life turns, we should always bend towards Him. Because we need Him to grow! Just like a baby seedling won’t ever grow to produce fruit if it never sees the sun, we won’t grow either if we don’t absorb the Light of the Lord.
