A Practical Walk

Everything in this world is complex and intricate:

• The way a baby can grow inside a woman for 9 months.
• How a person goes from infant to learning to speak, walk, and reason.
• The way a green leaf absorbs energy from the sun….energy from the sun! And it uses that to grow.
• The way a tiny seed becomes a massive tree.
• The way the seasons change, year after year.
• How plants and animals hibernate and seem to disappear in frozen winter months, but then emerge in spring.
• How a beautiful desert flower can thrive in a hot, dry climate.
• The way certain fish can live in the ocean depths.
• Or how birds know to migrate.
• The way the sun warms us up and makes this planet habitable.

I could go on and on. But think about it. When have we ever learned everything there is to know about something….even just one thing?

Doctors are still learning more about our bodies’ cells.

We still know so little about outer space, or the ocean floor.

We’re still discovering new plants.

My mind is blown at how complex and intricate the world we live in is! And I’m in awe at the One who came up with it all!
