Things have continued to be busy, so I think my best course of action for a blog post right now is another timed one. So here I go with a bunch of randomness on my mind!

I’m super proud of my girl! She flew by herself to and from a retreat! Now, she’s had many, many flights under her belt, most of which were international, so I knew she could do a direct, domestic flight, but I’m just so proud of how well she did!
The Bible is so practical. The more I read, the more I see how there’s great advice, concepts, and guidelines for how to live life. And if the name Practical Walk didn’t give it away, I’m a fan of practicality.
Our town had a water break and we’ve been out of water since yesterday. The city was giving away bottles of drinking water and you can go fill buckets up with non-potable water. It’s funny because in Africa, we were used to keeping spare water on hand in case of something like this, but here, when water suddenly goes out, we’re not prepared. My main concern right now is my poor, thirsty plants.
