Frugal Five

I sold a 2 person sleeping bag on FB for $45! The items I’ve listed recently on FB haven’t been selling, so I was surprised when this one only lasted a couple days. Clutter out, cash in! And being a 2 person tent, it did take up quite a bit of space in our shed with all our camping equipment.

I went grocery shopping. I was thinking I’d buy some chicken, but when I saw turkey for only 97 cents a pound I got that instead. I’m mean a turkey’s really just a big chicken.

My husband mentioned me wanting a certain plant to a lady, and she sent him home with multiple cuttings! Now we have these purple plants that I’ve been wanting, plus some basil, monkey grass and a bird of paradise! All for free! In fact, there was enough we even shared some with my mother-in-law.

We went to a community event, where my son’s Taekwondo group did some demonstrations. I was so proud of him! We also got to see various vendors and pet some cool animals (I pet a zebra for the first time ever!) Anyways…I anticipated the food trucks at the event to be pricey, so I made a pasta salad which we ate at my in-laws’ place afterwards. It was great (free) fun!

Went on a lovely walk and found 2 pennies while at it!
