November’s over, so I’m not posting a grateful item each day, but I can should still be thankful! In fact just the other day, I was going down the grumpy path, the stress of getting everything ready for Christmas, all the Christmas events the US has to offer, plus we’ll be traveling, so the scheduling of our trip. Then I remembered, I can let the stress of schedules overshadow the many good things I have, or I can fight a rotten attitude by actively being thankful.
I’m thankful or my father-in-law’s birthday. We’ve spent the majority of our adult lives living far away from family, so this birthday was special that we actually got to celebrate in person with him!
A sweet surprise. My daughter’s close friend surprised her by coming to Texas! I’m so happy for their friendship, and I’m so happy for this time they get to spend together!
And a few “little” things I thankful for:
Christmas lights
Presents under the tree
Plenty of work for my husband
Ice-coffee
Sunshine
Our comfy couch
Good sleep
Low-key Sunday afternoon
Christmas cards

While other parts of the country are turning white with snow, our white comes from cotton fields.
What are you thankful for right now?
