I got back home just in the nick of time! The crazy winter weather hit and we got snow! This part of Texas doesn’t usually see this much snow, or see it last this long, or see this kind…like the kind that crunches under your feet!
My son had been hoping for a white Christmas while we were in Missouri, but then it was unseasonably warm.
So he got his winter wish…just a little later.
We’re trying to soak up the winter wonderland while we can. And we have much to be grateful for:
- A warm, dry house
- No power outages yet
- That I got home before all the bad weather and flight cancelations.
I’m not dead…just making a snow angel.
