A Practical Walk

I’m thankful for the internet.

I know that the internet brings with it distractions, temptations and time wasters, but there’s so much about it that I really appreciate.

• Talking to family and friends. This is especially important to me as I’ve lived all my adult life far away from family. I love seeing pictures of my neices and nephews as they grow, being able to call my mom up, or doing family video calls.
• Information at my finger tips. Can I use up this cottage cheese in mashed potatoes? What’s the weather gonna be? My kid needs to look up Powhatan for an essay. What sales do we have at the local grocery store today? It really is mind boggling all the information we can get so quickly!
