I believe every book we as believers read, must be compared to the truths of Scripture. Any book I recommend does not necessarily mean I agree with 100% of it. All reading we do, should be done with the Bible truths in the forefront of our minds.
As January rolls to an end, I thought I’d share what I’ve read. My nose has been in several books this month, but I’m only sharing the ones I’ve completed.
Learning How to Learn by Barbara Oakley and Terrence Sejnowski
Great book, would recommend! I’ve thought back to many of the concepts and have even begun using the “walk through” method in homeschooling. You can read my review here.
The Well-Watered Woman by Gretchen Saffles
Excellent book! I enjoyed both what she had to say and how she said it. Here’s my review of it.
Heart of God by Elisabeth Elliot
This is an Elisabeth Elliot book, but one that they found in a Word document after her passing. I read a biography of her years ago and found it fascinating, so was excited to read one of her works. It’s in 31 short chapters, so you can easily read a chapter a day for a month. It’s an easy read and has a beautiful cover design!

What did you read this month? Any recommendations?
