A Practical Walk

Got my first referral on fetch rewards, which gave me 2000 points! This was right after I redeemed my points for a $5 gift card. Because I don’t try to buy things with extra points, I simply make my usual purchases, it takes me a while to wrack up to a gift card. This is my third $5 gift card this year.

I was delighted when my mother-in-law asked if I wanted any packing material. I was running low on packing paper and bubble wrap for shipping ebay items. I got a whole box full from her!

It just rained! That means free water for the garden! Of course, I have no control over this, but I’m grateful!

My husband had a pair of shoes he doesn’t wear. My son took them and has been happily wearing them! Yay for a no-cost pair of shoes for him!

We decided to give our kids a certain amount of money every month for them to purchase their toiletries and clothes with. The other day one of them told me, “Mom, you should be proud of me! I saved $1 by buying a 2 pack of toothpaste, because I know I’ll need the second tube eventually!” And yes, I was proud!
