At first I skipped over this question, but maybe it’s a good one. Afterall this is just my thoughts or desires in 10 years, not a commitment.
- Grandkids – In 10 years my kids will be in their late 20’s so I’d love to be a Grandma by then. What should I go by? Meemaw? Nana? Granny? Grandmother?
- Okay, this might sound weird after just posting about grandkids, but we have talked about fostering again, and I haven’t given up on the idea of adopting again.
- In 10 years I’d love to be overseas working again. My first pick would be back in West Africa, but I’ve also thought about Mexico. Afterall it is just right across the border from us here in Texas. But I’ve already invested so much in African languages and culture, and I’d love to see people we left.
These are just my thoughts, I realize that all of it happening in 10 years is unlikely, especially fostering and moving overseas. Come back in 2036 for an update!
