Since my husband’s been working out of town this week, I’ve been packing his lunches. A couple days ago our son went to work with him, so I packed double.
Then I also took my daughter some of her prepped rice when she had a long shift at work. As I got it ready I realized that I was packing my senior’s lunch in the bag I packed her first grade lunches in! And I still use the camouflage one that my son used in kindergarten.

It should also be noted that this lunch bag has been to Africa and back.
Bruno and I went for a walk, free exercise! And I picked some beautiful wild flowers…free decoration for the kitchen table!

We’re going on a camping trip! Woo-hoo! I wanted some non-refrigerated eggs to take with us, so I asked on the local fb page for some fresh eggs to buy and got lots of responses! One lady I know messaged me and told me she could give me some FREE! So I got one dozen eggs free! I gave her several empty egg cartons.
Instead of driving to Wal-Mart in another town, I went to our local store and holy guacamole are prices high!!! Despite spending lots on some items, others were on sale, like 10 lbs. of potatoes for $1.97 (I got 2 bags, because you know we’re big tater eaters. And I found some “deleted” items that were pretty cheap too.
What’ve you been up to this week to save a buck or two?
