My daughter ‘s graduating! We had a joint grad party with 3 other homeschool seniors. Doing this all together made it cheaper (and more fun, I think) than if we had each done our own. One mom made the cake, and the rest of us brought snacks and drinks. My husband put together a short PowerPoint of each senior with photos. It was a special time to celebrate this milestone.
Being the amazing daughter she is, she saved the giftbags she received gifts in for me to reuse.
Today I cut open both an almost empty BB cream and my tube of toothpaste. I should be able to get a couple more uses out of each of these now.
I harvested a yellow squash, bibb lettuce, onions and herbs. I sauteed the squash up with an onion from the garden and another squash…from the store.

I put some basil in a chicken wrap and let my husband use some mint to garnish a tres leches cake for a dessert competition. He won “best presentation” and “mostly likely the wife helped” awards. Which I only helped by cutting the mint and telling him where things were located in the cupboards!

The cake was muy rico!!
I might also add that my mother-in-law gave him this “disposable” pan to reuse. It was perfect as he wanted to do a larger size cake.
Do you ever cut tubes open to get more out?
Do you reuse giftbags too?
