I’ve been cutting oregano and drying it for using in cooking. I’m thinking I’m not gonna need to purchase oregano at the store anymore. It’s been one of the easier herbs that I’ve grown.

On days that my husband worked too far to come home for lunch, I packed him a lunch. And sometimes our son works with him too, so I pack double.

Lunch for my two guys last week.
I scored multiple clearance items at Walmart today: decaf coffee, bread, jelly and 2 whole chickens.
I also bought ground turkey. I’ve been doing this for a while now. It’s significantly cheaper than ground beef and in most recipes I don’t taste too much difference. Sometimes I do add oil when cooking it. I cooked some up in spaghetti sauce and some I cooked for burritos.
I’ve found several coins lately, today I found a penny while walking Bruno.

A picture from another walk with Bruno…that one involved picking wildflowers.
What frugalness have you been up to?
