A Practical Walk

I shredded trash paper and dumped it in the worm compost.

Bruno took me on a run/walk, and I found 2 dimes!

We had beautiful scenery on our walk!

I picked a watermelon today and we have oodles more growing! We’ve been enjoying making agua fresca. We just blend watermelon up with honey or simple syrup, lime juice and maybe some water.

The variety of watermelon we planted have yellow flesh instead of pink, hence the color.

Today was my son’s first official day of school! One of his classes his sister had done, so we didn’t need to purchase the textbook, just the workbook as she had written in it. And a couple other books I found used on ebay. So only some of his curriculum did we pay full price.

Speaking of school, I realized I’m starting my 10th year of homeschooling. We’ve used many different curriculums over the years, would any of you readers be interested in curriculum reviews?

I was home all day today, so I took advantage of it and made egg bake for the freezer and granola.
