Y’all, I’m bugged. There’s hard things going on all around me. There’s things on the global level, things in the community, things with friends and family, and things in my very own heart and head. Just so much that’s bugging me. But I can fight it, and one way, is to intentionally thank my God for the good things, and not be overcome by the bad. So here I go….
I’m thankful that I haven’t been having hardly any migraines lately….and even when I do, I now have medication that works so much better than the Excedrin.
I’m thankful for Bruno, our happy dog, who loves to be my walking companion.
I’m thankful for the rain we got!!! And the beautiful rainbow!
I’m thankful for our little keyboard. My son is doing a half credit of music this year and I’m learning with him and getting to do some simple piano playing!
I’m thankful for blogging, it’s a burst of joy in my day.
I’m thankful for a job for my daughter. She’s on her second shift right now. After her first shift she came home and said the work environment is so much better than where she worked previously! She’s excited to go to work and this makes me happy!
I’m thankful for a recent good ebay sale.
I’m thankful that even though people fail, my God never does. The God who saved Daniel when he spent the night with lions, is my God. The God who was with Joseph all those years away from family and accused of wrong he had literally run away from, He’s my God. The God who parted water so a mass of people could escape, that’s my God today. And even when all around me the world feels like a mess, He’s still my God. I follow the God who put the rainbow in the sky.
