Tuesday morning started by selling a side table on fb for $50! We’ve used this nice little mid-century style table, but now that we rearranged the room it was in the way.
I staged it, trying to help it sell faster, but that resulted in people asking if the flower picture was for sale!
I went to pick up some things from Home Depot for my husband’s business. I took the opportunity to shop at Aldi and Goodwill. At Goodwill I found a skirt for myself, 4 vases for propagating plants, a small pot, and 3 items for resale. The resale items are:
- Star Trek Blanket – I was inspired to try to resell this after another Katy (the one at The Non-Consumer Advocate) sold a periodic table of elements blanket.
- A linen lime-green shirt.
- And a J. Crew pear sweater. I only sometimes pick up J. Crew for reselling, but I thought I’d take a shot with this one. It’s a little quirky, it’s wool blend, and sweater weather is approaching, so people are more likely to purchase one right now.
I’m really trying to be pickier about what I buy to resell, if I’m going to take the time to list it, I don’t want to be making a mere $2 on something.
