What’s one piece of travel advice you always follow?

For this writing prompt, I thought I should separate it into two kinds of travel: airline travel and road trips.
Air travel – Take a spare set of clothes in your carry on. This is especially helpful if you’re going a long distance. I like being able to change into fresh clothes during a layover. And if you’re traveling to a location with a different climate this is extra handy. Plus if your checked luggage happens to get lost, at least you have two sets of clothes until it’s found!
Road trips – Snacks. Yup, bring lots of food. Convenience store foods are one of the most expensive, and if you stop frequently to use their restrooms, those tasty treats can be almost irresistible.
