Today I’m thankful for my parents. I’ve always loved them, but definitely grew to appreciate them more as I became older. I think I was rather naive of how unstable so many other’s childhood’s where. Even though we moved many times, our home life remained solid.
Then becoming a parent myself, opened my eyes to the behind the scenes work that goes in to raising kids. And now I’m grateful for the active role they play in our lives. Even though we live states away, they still make an effort to stay connected and I so appreciate that!
Just this year we went camping with them in Tennessee!
